Here we are back again and with a new web address.Hopefully this time,
third time lucky ,this is the one that will be staying and catchy enough to
remember.
There is a gallery area that will be added to as paintings and drawings etc
are sorted through.It's something that always got half started and then
forgotten about in the past but it would be nice to have these things in a form
of presentation.
News and updates will be posted here as they happen,which could be a little
slowly in view of the fact that sleeves are still being handmade.The most recent,
indeed,next Faraway Press release (FP 019),should be out in the early spring and is quite an unusual LP package and one that harks back to the early and
more archival period of vinyl manufacture.
All previous customers will be informed of any new releases by email,but
should you wish the same just fill in the form on the 'contact' tab and you'll
be added as a new customer.
We're still distributing and manufacturing some of the Siren Records releases
and there should be a new release on Siren too in 2011

Back in print again after some absence is Vikki's first album on Faraway Press.Available on cd in an improved package along the lines of the recent Ghost of Nakhodka and Violin by Night albums.
Of Beauty Reminiscing has been remastered by Denis Blackham at Skye Mastering and is presented in an oversized cd slipcase with wooden spine and inner sleeve.
Limited to 300 copies in all new artwork.

In coloured blue matt papers, a special handmade thick card portfolio
to house the CD, with debossed panels and Japanese language
texts.
Sent in strong packaging and complete with plastic bag for protection
of the portfolio.
Heavy item, hence higher than normal postage costs.

Each copy is completely unique and features original hand marbled paper on the outer sleeve
(please see a selection of photos below), no two are alike.
Made from card, with papers tipped on in book style manner.
Inside, the LP is housed in a fold-out embossed black card folder. Each copy is signed by
Vikki Jackman on the inner leaf.
Titles to front, spine and back are in Japanese texts.
